Last Show this Spring

Last week was Ballston Arts and Crafts Market in Arlington. Winds were mighty at 45 mph so everyone had to make due without their canopies... but it was a beautiful sunny cool day with plenty of visitors.
All in all a successful and fun day!

This Sunday's show is Taste of Arlington!
This fun street festival will have local entertainment, lively sponsors, children's activities, and over 40 restaurants participate in this spectacular community event.

The Ballston Arts & Crafts Market will be one street down from the festival. I'll be setting up shop in the regular spot, Welburn Square, joining the festive spirit. So come join in on the food and fun!

I'm taking requests...so let me know if there's anything you'd like to see this Sunday. ;)

Hope to see you soon!

Ballston Market - This Saturday!

I'll be there! Booth # 16
Everything has been so busy i haven't had a chance to even post about Crafty Bastards (it was AMAZING)... and now i'm posting about my last show in October... and for a while, really... until end of November!

Quick note about Crafty Bastards... I was so happy to see everyone come out. It was so amazing... so packed... and sold so many of my favorite pieces...not to mention most of my Vintage rehab peices.

So if you're coming out this Saturday and are looking for a particular piece... please CONTACT ME to make sure i have it... otherwise i can try to make it for you for this show.

So come out to visit for the last ballston craft show of the season. Right outside of the Ballston st. metro!

Hope to see you there!

Great Event

The Handmade Mart was amazing this past Sunday. It was so great to see everyone that came by my booth...as well as seeing all the other vendors. We had a great turn out and a super busy day with perfect weather....we did have a bit of wind issues towards the end of the day... i need to figure out a display that won't blow away!

Anyways to those that came out to support your local artists... THANK YOU!
I hope you found a lot of cool gifts and crafts.

As for me I'm back to making more for the Ballston craft market on June 13th in Wellburn Square.

I'm thinking of hold a small raffle for some gift notes or perhaps some jewelry.
I'm open to ideas... so if anyone has something in mind ... pipe in and let me know! ;)

Cheers!

Please don't rain Saturday

I've been working on some really cute designs to show at the Saturday show in Ballston Virginia.
I've been really excited about this one because its a perfect venue to find some really neat mother's day gifts.

I just got the vendor map and i'm lucky 13 ;) (click on map image to see it bigger)

What i'm really worried about is the weather... according to my iphone application it shows T-storms...not even a little bit of sun...
but i'm kinda hoping that it's wrong or will change... as it has been on many occasions. ;)

Still i'm going to take this opportunity to show off some of my new designs- silhouette post earrings.... which are already listed on my website should you get as excited about them as I am.

Wasn't April the "shower month" ? I'm really looking forward to "May flowers".
Hope to see some people on Saturday !
