The book Handmade Nation was written by Faythe Levine and Cortney Heimerl published back in October, the book has since become a documentary capturing the burgeoning craft and DIY movement across America.
The movie brings to light so many smaller sects and groups of people that work towards supporting and nurturing the movement not only through their own work, but also by encouraging others (even customers!) to learn how to make things too. Check out the trailer below.

Crafts & Kisses 2009

I love the new flyer for the crafts and kisses fair this year. They do a great job promoting this fun event.

Indie Craft Fest at DWR

During this one-day event at the Studio, you’ll find one-of-a-kind clothing, stationary, prints, jewelry, handspun yarn, plush items and more. As always, you can test-drive DWR’s large selection of modern designs for the home and workplace. Our gift to you: free standard shipping on all items under $250 through December 16.
